Foster + Adopt Ministry

Caring for Vulnerable Children and Families
Isaiah 1:17 tells us, "Learn to do good, seek justice, correct oppression, bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause."

God's heart for the needy, the orphan, the oppressed, and the brokenhearted is seen over and over again in scripture. He cares deeply for them, which means we should too.

Here at Austin Bridge we have two external partnerships that help guide our internal Foster + Adoption Ministry. The first is with Fostering Hope, which is a local faith-based nonprofit that works to build stronger foster and adoptive families through training, mentoring, and church ministry development. The second is with Safe Families, which is a voluntary program with a mission to surround families in crisis. They aim to help families get the support and resources necessary keep kids from being abused, neglected, or ending up in the child welfare system.

Within Austin Bridge we hope to equip and encourage foster, adoptive, and safe family caregivers. We believe that everyone has a role to play and can walk alongside these kids and families to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

We would love to have you fill out one of the questionnaires below to help us get you connected with our ministry! The Family Questionnaire is for foster, adoptive, or Safe Family host families while the Supporters Questionnaire is for anyone who is looking to serve and support those families.
