From Round Rock, Texas, Jessica has remained rooted in the Lone Star State, except for brief stints away for summer mission trips. Her family changes shape and sizes depending on the season as Jessica opens her home to foster children, a calling close to her heart.
Discovering faith at the age of 20 during a period of personal struggle, Jessica moved to College Station, Texas, where she learned more about her identity in Christ. This pivotal moment ignited a passion for serving others, particularly within the foster care system and community outreach. Over the years, this passion has been channeled through various nonprofits and churches, including involvement with Save Our Streets and RestoreHer in Bryan, Texas, as well as dedicated service with CASA of Travis County and Caritas of Austin.
Settling in Austin, Jessica lives out her calling intersecting with the mission of Austin Bridge, a ministry dedicated to bridging the gap for vulnerable populations. Here, her background in ministry and extensive experience in serving communities joins seamlessly, empowering her to continue impacting lives and fostering hope within the city.
