Juhan is originally from Denver, Colorado. He is a hardcore Denver sports fan and loves watching his teams: Broncos, Nuggets, Avs, and sometimes the Rockies. Through the prayers of his mom he came to faith at 18 when he moved to Korea, and received the call into ministry. He attended University of Colorado Boulder for two years and transferred to Dallas Baptist University. He met his beautiful wife, Christine, in Massachusetts while attending seminary at Gordon Conwell getting his Masters in Divinity. They moved down to Austin ten years ago. Together they have three kids: Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Eleanor.
Juhan worked as a youth pastor for 8 years, and both Juhan and Christine felt called to plant a church through a residency program through The Well. Juhan and Christine with the core team planted Austin Bridge in 2022. Juhan is passionate about preaching, teaching and living out the love of Jesus, discipleship, and sports.
