MEET SUSIE

Susie lived in over 20 places in her life before settling down in Los Angeles, California in 2007, where she studied Art and Film Studies at Pepperdine University. Susie and her husband, Daniel, got married in 2013 and continued to live in L.A. until God called their family to the city of Austin. As a family of 5, including their children Greyson (5), Winter (2), and Kaia (1), they left the familiarities of Los Angeles and moved to the heat of Texas in June of 2024.

Growing up as a pastor’s kid, Susie served at church from her early middle school years but it wasn’t until college that she started to grow her own heart for ministry. After spending her first 10 years post-graduation in the Film & Entertainment and Media Marketing industry in L.A., she wanted to transition into a role that would allow her to be more present for the family.

Though both Susie and Daniel would not have envisioned themselves at a church plant upon moving to Austin, they felt the Lord’s providence leading them to Austin Bridge and the deep sense of community at the Bridge has been the greatest blessing in their first year here in Texas!

MEET HANNAH

Hannah grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta before attending college at the University of Georgia. After graduating in 2015, she moved to Austin to pursue her Masters in Social Work. Hannah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and worked as a school-based mental health therapist for 5 years before coming on staff at Austin Bridge.

Hannah grew up in a Christian home and was baptized at a church retreat in middle school. During college Hannah really made her faith own and began walking faithfully with the Lord. She attended The Well, our parent church, for 6 years before deciding to help plant Austin Bridge. It was while serving alongside Juhan in the college ministry at The Well that Hannah felt God call her into vocational ministry.

Hannah and her husband Matt knew one another for 6 years before beginning to date and then getting married in February 2023. While still single, Hannah began fostering and now Hannah and Matt have adopted their daughter.
